BTS’ V Draws Attention After Interacting with Justin Bieber, David Beckham and Tom Cruise at FIFA World Cup Final

BTS member V drew attention after being seen interacting with several global celebrities during the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final in the United States.

On July 19 (local time), BTS performed at the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show at New York New Jersey Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The group performed their global hit “Dynamite” as part of the historic halftime event. 

Following the performance, V was seen speaking with Justin Bieber. The two stood close together while Bieber appeared to whisper something to the BTS member before continuing their conversation.

V was also spotted greeting football legend David Beckham. Beckham naturally placed an arm around V’s shoulders as they chatted in the VIP area.

Their interaction drew additional attention as Beckham had previously “liked” a video V shared from Paris Fashion Week in June.

Hollywood actor Tom Cruise later joined the conversation. According to videos and photos circulating online, Cruise greeted V with a smile and a handshake before spending time talking with both V and Beckham.

The three were later seen posing together for group photos. Beckham once again wrapped an arm around V, while Cruise leaned in playfully toward V during one of the photos.

The appearance came on the same day BTS made history by performing in the first halftime show ever held during a FIFA World Cup Final.
