HYBE’s New Girl Group TUIDE Officially Unveils Seven-Member Lineup Ahead of Debut
HYBE’s new label, ABD, has officially confirmed that its upcoming girl group will debut under the name TUIDE later this year.
According to ABD, the name TUIDE is derived from the phrase “Tune the Tide,” reflecting the group’s goal of experiencing and harmonizing different flows in the world to create new forms of enjoyment.
The group consists of seven members: Seohee, Seoyeon, Elena, Jia, Saki, Sea, and Lee Hanee.
Alongside the announcement, the agency released a logo motion video showing different colors naturally blending together like flowing water before revealing the group’s name and logo. ABD also announced that TUIDE’s official Instagram account will remain private for the time being starting July 21.
The group’s overall production will be led by Han Sung-soo, who serves as Master Professional (MP). Han previously worked with artists including SEVENTEEN, After School, IZ*ONE, and TWS during his time at PLEDIS Entertainment.
HYBE said ABD was established as part of its multi-label strategy, which aims to strengthen each label’s expertise and creative independence.
The label’s name, ABD, stands for “A Bold Dream.” According to HYBE, it represents a creative approach that imagines D instead of C after A and B, emphasizing flexible and bold thinking.
